Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025 – Notification, Application & Subject List
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the official notification for Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025 under **Advertisement No. 08/2025**. The exam is meant for determining eligibility for appointment as **Assistant Professors** and admission into **Ph.D. programmes** in colleges/universities in Jharkhand.

✔ Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree or equivalent from a UGC-recognized university in the relevant subject.
- For **General / EWS**: Minimum **55%** marks (without rounding) in Master’s.
- For **SC / ST / BC-I / BC-II / PwBD** (Jharkhand residents): Minimum **50%** marks.
- Final year PG / awaiting results candidates *may apply provisionally*, subject to fulfilling the required marks within a time frame (as prescribed).
- Ph.D. holders whose Master’s was completed on or before 19 September 1991 are eligible for a 5% relaxation (if applicable)
- **No upper age limit** for applying.

📝 Application Process
- Visit the official JPSC website: jpsc.gov.in
- Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) / candidate profile (if required).
- Fill in personal, academic, and contact details; choose subject of examination, exam centre preferences.
- Upload scanned documents: passport-size photo, signature, category certificate (if applicable).
- Pay the required fee online via credit card / debit card / net banking / UPI / wallets.
- Submit the form and download / print the confirmation page for record.
- During the correction window (08–10 October), candidates may edit certain fields (as permitted) and revalidate their application.
📋 Exam Pattern & Format
The JET 2025 exam will be conducted in **offline (OMR / pen-paper)** mode.

📌 Validity & Use of JET Certificate
- The JET certificate, once obtained, is **valid for lifetime**.
- Qualified candidates can use it to apply for **Assistant Professor** positions in Jharkhand colleges / universities and also for **Ph.D. admissions** in eligible institutions.
