The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification for the UGC NET JRF June 2025 examination. The online application window is now open from 16 April to 07 May 2025. This national-level exam is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the posts of Assistant Professor and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree or equivalent with at least:
- 55% marks for General/Unreserved category
- 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender
- Final year students can also apply (subject to eligibility at result time).
2. Age Limit:
- For JRF: Maximum 30 years as on 01 June 2025 (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Third Gender/female).
- For Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
